Mental Health Clinician I
Job Summary
Colusa County Office of Education is recruiting for a Mental Health Clinician I who can provide associate-level clinical services as a member of the school-based mental health and wellness team within Colusa County continuum of care provides direct mental health services, including individual and group counseling, consultation, evaluations, trainings and case management or students requiring Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) or other intensive mental health support as determined by the student’s IEP and performs other related duties as assigned. This position collaborates with school staff, community agencies, and families to support student well-being and educational success.

CURRENT ASSIGNMENT LOCATION: Colusa County Special Education SALARY: $78,175 - $105,061per year HOURS/DAYS: 7 hours per day, 190 days per year BENEFITS: Partially paid medical, dental and vision benefits; paid sick and vacation leave; CalSTRS retirement EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Possession of a Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy with either a valid California license in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) or Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern (AMFT)

LICENSES & REQUIREMENTS: Valid California license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or registration as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) Valid California license as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or a Professional Clinical counselor Registered Intern (APCC) Valid California License as a Clinical Psychologist Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Counseling, School Psychology, or School Social Work. Licensed or license-eligible in California as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist Administrative Services Credential (preferred). Obtain a California Pupil Personnel Services Credential in either School counseling, School Psychology, or School Social Work within two years of employment in this classification to remain employed with Colusa County Office of Education. Ability to travel within Colusa County and surrounding areas as needed. Positions require that incumbents work within the scope of a: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist Licensed Educational Psychologist OR Masters of Social Work with either a license or registration; OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or an Associate Professional clinical Counselor Registered Intern The successful candidate will be required to provide DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance, TB test clearance, COVID-19 vaccination verification (or program-required equivalent) a valid California driver’s license, and immunizations as described on complete job description following acceptance of job offer.
