
Undergraduate Research Assistant
The Department of Philosophy is seeking one or more Undergraduate Research Assistants for summer 2025.
Responsibilities:
The duties for this appointment include serving as a Research Assistant. Specifically, you will be expected to:
- Contribute to a video game development team, creating educational logic games
- manage and respond to research-related email with the supervisor
- attend regular meetings with the supervisor and team
- record hours worked in WorkDay
DATES/ HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: Summer quarter, 5 or more hours per week depending on the number of assistants hired. The payroll dates for the appointment are from June 16- Sept 15 2025
REQUIREMENTS:
- Formally enrolled in a UW degree program for at least 6 credits during Spring 2025 or Summer 2025
- Significant experience with video game development
DESIRED:
- Significant experience with formal logic, such as PHIL 120, PHIL 470, CSE 311, MATH 300
COMPENSATION: This position pays at a rate of $22.65/hour.
