About the role

The role of the Business Development Representative is to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers and setting appointments with these potential customers and our Sales Executive team. The role requires a strong mindset, high-level work ethic, and a closer mentality.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospective customers, from first contact until our Sales Executive closes the deal.  If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in an asynchronous work environment, we’d like to meet you!

  • Primary responsibility is driving appointments for top-line revenue through setting acquisition appointments for Account Executives
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Prospect for new accounts through cold calling nationally (100+ dials/day)
  • Localize your knowledge of trends, market conditions, and advertising tendencies based on market
  • Use qualifying to progress right-fit prospects through the funnel and disqualify wrong-fit prospects
  • Understand the value proposition behind each function of Premier Agent product stack
  • Skilled at delivering an effective opener that include a strong intro, value prop, hook, and transition question
  • Must be adaptable, flexible, able to thrive with a lot of quick pivots and approach challenges with a solution oriented mentality

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

Who you are
  • 0-2 years of inside sales/telesales preferred and/or a college degree or sales training certificate
  • Possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a personable, positive “can-do” attitude via the phone and in person
  • Online advertising sales background is a plus
  • High ethical values and professionalism
  • Ability to prioritize and utilize time management
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Salesforce.com or other CRM experience preferred


In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for variable incentives and/or equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
