CenturyLink’s internship program is a 10 week, fast-paced and exciting opportunity to gain professional experience within your field of study. Interns in our Finance department will be challenged to apply their knowledge gained in the classroom to real world problems. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience working on real world Innovation initiatives for a Fortune 200 company.
Responsibilities are generally designed to provide 5 main areas of achievable work with a high learning potential for the intern:
Customer Data Collection: Execute queries and compile Customer data for revenue and profitability views to be used in support of internal and external account reviews.
Data Testing & Validation: Perform UAT and data validation for CAT and other systems and data sets (proforma). May also monitor and maintain roles/markets and workflow in CAT.
Standard Executive Reporting: Maintain and refresh the excel and PowerPoint based month end reporting.
Forecast/Budget Consolidation: Execute and validate monthly Essbase budget loads, consolidate and validate P&L line items.
Ad Hoc Requests: Respond to various requests from all parts of the team as prioritized.
