Instructor/Tutor, Speech and Debate

Teach elementary and middle school students to debate and to do speaking. The first two classes, we provide instruction PowerPoints that engage students in activities. The remaining four classes, the students present their speeches or they practice debate where you give feedback to them on how to improve (we provide comments you can use in your feedback).

Experience in debate is NOT needed. We'll show you how debate works and we have a number of current employees with no prior speech or debate experience and they do great.

We are looking for instructors that can teach in the Bellevue-Redmond-Seattle area on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 230 to 8pm. You work when you can.

The Pay is $23 per hour PLUS there is a $15 bonus per day that you work (at least one hour). Averaged out for a typical 3 hour work session, that is $28 per hour. 

Here are two example schedules of an Instructor:
---You work 2:30-4:30pm on Mondays and 4:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday which is 6 hours at $23/hour and 2 days of $15 bonus, for a total of $168."
---You work 2:15-8:15pm on Mondays, 2:30-8:00pm on Tuesdays, and 2:15-8:15pm on Wednesdays which is 17.5 hours at $23/hour and 3 days of $15 bonus, for a total of $447.50.

We reimburse at IRS mileage rate your travel cost, pay a bonus ($15 to $30) for using Light Rail or Bus, and pay for shorter Uber trips.

Our programs happen in Fall, Winter, Spring plus two 1 week sessions that are more 9am to 530pm in the Summer.
