Electrical Testing Engineer
Electrical Testing Engineer (Contractor)
Position Summary:
PDF Solutions (NASDAQ: PDFS) is seeking an electrical testing engineer to join the team focusing on developing a cutting-edge electron beam inspection tool (eProbe®). These tools are basically high-speed scanning electron microscopes (SEM) used at 300mm semiconductor wafer fabs to implement PDF’s Design-for-Inspection (DFI) methodology used in yield ramp and manufacturing control.
As an electrical testing engineer, the candidate focuses on designing and implementing testing procedures for electrical equipment, sub-systems, and components to ensure they meet performance specifications and various industry standards. He/she shall utilize a good understanding of electrical theory and industry standards to conduct experiments, analyze data, and develop solutions. This role involves generating test reports and documents, troubleshooting and resolving electrical problems and participating in the product lifecycle from design to manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing electrical tests: Developing and executing test plans for electrical equipment, systems, and components.
- Analyzing data and generating reports/documents: Interpreting electrical data, conducting experiments, and creating comprehensive test reports and documents.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Identifying and resolving electrical issues in various stages of the product lifecycle, with the supervision with senior electrical engineers.
- Participating in the product lifecycle: Contributing to the design, development, and manufacturing of electrical systems.
- Collaborating with teams: Working closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
