Peer Wellness Coach
LiveWell’s Peer Health Education Program nurtures dialogue and engagement on individual and community levels to inspire and teach life-long awareness and action in cultivating health and well-being.
Peer Wellness Coaches go through training to provide 1-1 wellness coaching on a myriad of topics including: communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness, cognitive bias recognition, emotional regulation skills, distress tolerance, media literacy, mindfulness, skills for intimacy, and more. They teach evidence-informed skills that improve the social, emotional, and mental health of UW students in a relational, peer setting.
