Intramurals Official

Now hiring Soccer & Softball Officials

OFFICIALS HIRING PROCESS - Priority Application Deadline: Thursday, March 5th by 11:59pm.

INVITE ONLY Mandatory Hiring Assessment date: Saturday, March 7th in Pariseau Gym (timing for specific sports TBA). Please bring a water bottle and wear athletic attire/gym shoes. Come ready to move! If you are interested in officiating for both soccer & softball, you must attend both assessments.

The INVITE ONLY Hiring Assessment acts as an applicant’s interview and must be attended to be considered for the position. Officials Training will take place the first two weeks of spring quarter. Department Description  

UW Recreation is a department within the Division of Student Life. We provide safe, accessible, and dynamic recreation experiences to engage students in growth and wellbeing. UW Recreation serves over one million students, faculty, and staff each academic year through informal and formal recreation, including fitness and sports classes, intramural and club sports, outdoor education, mindfulness programs, and more. 

 

Job Description  
Under the supervision of the Intramural Manager, Intramural Officials are responsible for officiating UW Recreation sporting events. Examples of duties include: enforcing rules of the game, ensuring that points are scored properly, and diffusing potential conflicts during games.

Minimum Qualifications 

University of Washington matriculated student
