Clark Pacific is hiring Project Engineers to join our Engineering teams in West Sacramento, Woodland, and Ontario, CA. This role is ideal for early career engineers who are eager to gain hands on experience across design, production, and field operations within an integrated design build environment.
About the Role:
The Project Engineer supports the successful design, fabrication, and installation of architectural and structural building systems. Working closely with Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers, this role plays a key part in driving project execution, coordination, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support design phase activities including submittals, design approvals, and reinforcement drawings
- Prepare and coordinate shop drawings and material requirements during production
- Assist with field planning including crane studies, rigging diagrams, shipping coordination, and manpower planning
- Support on site field operations to ensure quality, schedule, and budget alignment
- Assist with general project management tasks including issue resolution, document coordination, and tracking scope, schedule, and cost
Qualifications:
- BS in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field required
- EIT certification preferred
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and blueprints
- Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills
- CAD proficiency and strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Comfortable working in office, manufacturing, and field environments
- Willingness to grow into increased responsibility and leadership
